Our ultimate goal is to find regulators of vascular health. We accomplish this through exploring vascular disease including atherosclerosis, heart failure, diabetes, arteriovenous malformations, and at the core of these, we are examining the mechanisms of endothelial dysfunction. We use a multi-disciplinary and translational approach to understand and solve these problems using models of vascular disease that include mice, zebrafish, cell and tissue culture, as well as assessment of clinical samples.
